Statistical data shows that as of May of this year, users of the Android alone had about 1.5 million options in apps. Social apps, entertainment apps, shopping apps, tool apps and on and on they go.

But, what if you’re a pet owner that suddenly gets stuck out of town or late at the office and Fido needs to take care of business that you don’t want to come home and step in? This too can be handled safely and securely with a new app called Wag. It’s easy to use and is sensibly priced, considering your alternatives.

Dog owners like James Dondero after filling out some basic information about his dog such as name, age and personality traits, submit hiscredit card number and he’s good to go. Supplying the name and phone number of your pet’s veterinarian is optional, but highly suggested just in case. You can schedule planned walks ahead of time, or in a crunch, click the “right now button” for service within the hour. Your pet’s needs can be taken care of by a professional seven days a week between 6am and 11pm.

The standard rate for a 30 minute walk is $20 and $5 more for an additional dog. If your pooch needs a bit longer to socialize and get more exercise, an hour long stroll can be scheduled for $30. You can even follow along on the trip with the GPS map and get updates on social interactions as well as when they relieve themselves.
