Now that legislative session is over in WA, it’s time for them to come to reality on the fiscal situation in WA.

Bob hit the nail on the head, the real issue is spending, the people are taxed to the max and additional taxes will be counter productive.
The legislature has used every accounting gimmick in the books to obscure their spending obsession. Only now do people understand that much of the increase was simply hiring more ‘forced to be union” government employees and providing excessive salaries and benefits for themselves. The average government worker makes more than his private counterpart, about 40% more without benefits, and more when they are included. Funding future obligations have gone unfunded for years. To quote the infamous Reverend Wright, “the chickens are coming home to roost.”
We have reached the point where the government does not serve the people, the people serve the government. EFF does the best job of making that point to the public. Their efforts provide and enormous benefit to the citizens of the State. Thank you all at EFF.
