Anthony (Tony) Petrello is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Nabors Industries Limited. He is also the Chairperson of the Executive Committee and board of the company. Nabors Industries Limited is a prominent natural gas drilling and geothermal contractor operating in the Middle East, the United States, Far East, and Africa. Anthony Petrello has played a significant role in the development of the company.
Tony Petrello attended Yale University where he attained MS and BS degrees in mathematics. He also trained at the Harvard University Law School and achieved a J.D. degree. He started his career at the Baker & McKenzie law firm in 1979. Mr. Petrello was hired as the Chief Operating Officer at Nabors Limited In 1991. He was promoted to be the President of the company in 1992. In 2003, Tony Petrello was appointed the Deputy Chairperson of Nabors Limited, and he maintained the position until 2012. He was promoted to be the company’s CEO in 2011 and became the Chairperson of the Board in 2012. In addition to his role at Nabors Industries, he is also the Director of Texas Children’s Hospital, Hillcorp Energy Company, and Stewart & Stevenson, LLC.
